RV Touch 3 Accessibility Statement

1. Overview

RV Touch – the system you’re using to view 360s, was created by Revolution Viewing. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate the solution using just a keyboard
  • listen to most parts of the system using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

2. How accessible RV Touch is

RV Touch version 3+ is capable of being fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) to AA standard although compliance requires our clients to appropriately populate content, for example with alternative descriptions for 360 images.

The solution also makes use of embedded content. Accessibility of the embedded content is sometimes out of our control especially, for example, when embedding third party content such as YouTube videos.

6. Technical information about this website’s accessibility

Revolution Viewing is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

7. Non accessible content

The RV Touch system is capable of being fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 to AA standard. Where all content has not been provided to Revolution Viewing, compliance may not be met, for example if a written description of a 360 hasn’t been provided for screen readers to read out. In such instances, we would recommend directly contacting the organisation responsible for the content using the contact details provided on their website.
